Original Item: These are British WWII dated and Broad Arrow marked aluminum 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" aluminum case containers with hinged tight fit lids. Referred to as Soap Dishes; these were widely used for survival gear such a compass, fish hook and line, water purification tablets, matches, snare wire and even condoms (for use as water bags).

Original WWII marked containers offered empty for you to fill, another commando collectible.
